CHAIRMAN

Mr Damian Dan Dodo, a Senior Advovate of Nigeria, is 41 years old and a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He holds LL.B (Hons), 1985 and Barrister-At-Law Certificate, 1986. Mr Dodo has had over 20 year of successful practice and has held various position of responsibility in the country. He is currently an external solicitor and consultant to the Federal Government of Nigeria, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), Nigerian Airways, Union Bank of Nigeria, United Bank for Africa, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL), Bureau of Public Enterprises, Petroleum Equalisation (Management) Fund, amongst many others.

He has held various positions of responsibility and honor including Trustee, Poverty Africa Programme (Nigeria) and awarded a certificate of Merit by the Ahmadu Bello University Law Society and Certificate of Honor by Ahmadu Bello University. He is also a Notary Public.
Mr Dodo belongs to various professional organizations including but not limited to Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Human Rights Committee, Africa Bar Association, NBA Law Reform Committee, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London (Associate), NBA Awards Committee, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and Vice Chairman, Continuing Legal Education Committee, NBA Abuja. He is also a member of the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LLPC), the body responsible for the conferment of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Mr Dodo has held various positions of responsibility in Government such as Attorney-General of Taraba State in 2002, Member, Advisory Committee on Political Affairs in the Office of the Political Adviser to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and Member, National Working Group on the Reform of Investment Laws in Nigeria constituted by the Federal Government. He is a consultant to National Communications Commission for the licensing of the 2nd National Operator (SNO) and Independent National Electoral Commission. He has attended various training and seminars such as International Bar Conference, San Francisco in 2003 and IBA Regional Conference, Lagos Nigeria in 2004. He is a recipient of the Rotary International District 9130 Professional Excellence Merit Award, 2000 and was conferred with Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2001 at age 34 years; the youngest ever in the history of the award in Nigeria.
