HEAD, ENTERPRISE BANKING

Aderemi Adejobi has a B.Sc in Economics and M.Sc in Information Systems from the University of Ibadan, an MBA (with specialisation in Marketing) from the University of Lagos and Master in Finance (Distinctions) from the Caledonian Business School of the Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Aderemi has over 12years banking experience cutting across various departments including branch operations, retail and commercial banking. He started his banking career as a Trainee Analyst with Standard Trust Bank Plc(now UBA Plc) in the branch operation department where he rose to become the customer service manager of various branches, including Daleko and Idumota branch. He later joined City Express Bank Plc as a Banking Officer and was Head of Operations for a number of branches and later branch manager of Trade Fair Complex branch. Thereafter, he joined Access Bank Plc as branch manager of Burma branch. He was later transferred to Creek Road branch as the branch manager. Aderemi, in the quest for greater challenges joined Sterling Bank Plc in 2007 as head of the team charged with the responsibility of establishing a commercial banking division in Apapa region, a move which ultimately led to the decentralisation of commercial banking business in Sterling Bank.

Aderemi has had a commendable performance during his banking career including the establishment of the operations division of five branches in two banks(Standard Trust Bank and City Express Bank). He led the team that successfully resuscitated the rested commercial and consumer banking division of Burma road branch of Access Bank Plc and was head of the relationship management team that transformed the Creek road branch of Access into one of the biggest branches of the bank with a balance sheet size in excess of N4billion from N1.2billion within 5 months. Aderemi will bring his impressive commercial baking experience to bear as the Head of Enterprise Banking in GS Microfinance Bank Ltd.

Aderemi is married with children.
