BOARD ADVISER

Prof. Isaac F. Megbolugbe is a Johns Hopkins University professor and a member of the faculty of The Edwards St. John Department of Real Estate. He is a director of the Johns Hopkins Graduate Program in the Business of Urban Planning and Development. He is both a fellow of the American Real Estate Society and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Prof. Megbolugbe attended University of Ibadan Nigeria and Ahmadu Bello University for his Bsc and Msc degrees respectively. He later proceeded to University of Pennsylvania for his MA and Ph.D degrees in Concentration in Real Estate Economics and Finance under the supervision of Prof. Peter Linneman, renowned Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Finance and Public Policy of the Wharton Business School. Prof. Megbolugbe started his academic career in University of Ibadan in 1983 as an Associate Professor and continued in Florida State University, The American University and The University of Pennsylvania before moving to Johns Hopkins University in 2003.
His industry experience has also spanned various institutions worldwide commencing with being a Research Analyst in US Agency for International Development (USAID), a consultant to Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, a Senior Policy Analyst/Economist with National Association of HomeBuilders, a Senior Director with Fannie Mae Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an industry expert, Centre for Financial Intermediaries. He was also Vice President of Fannie Mae Foundation 1999-2002 and Vice President for Product/Market Development, Linneman Associates.
He is author of various publications and reports including 21 (Twenty one) Books/Book Chapters/Monographs, 15 (Fifteen) Non-referred Journal Articles, 47 Referred Journal Articles and 25 (Twenty five) Work-In-Progress. He is a recipient of Honors, and on the Board of Directors and Editorial Boards of 22 (Twenty two) institutions including Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, member of Board of Directors of American Real Estate Society, PENN Graduate Fellowship and a scholar of both the Federal Government of Nigeria and Kwara State Government.
